Beautiful Jeremy. We're having very similar realisations! Due to my deep dive into consciousness research lately, I'm starting to firm up a belief that the body is merely a reflection of the mind. Or rather the body IS the mind. So whatever trauma the mind holds is reflected within the body. I'm determined to work out how to heal myself via accessing subconscious material as I know it's possible!

Thanks, Roc! Yeah for sure, I have a feeling many people are going through very similar journeys throughout the world. You're on point re: Body is the Mind, in fact Parts 2 & 3 of this series dig into that. ;)

Have you heard the phrase "your biography is your biology." Or maybe I have that reversed? Anyway, I believe that what happens to us matters, and it does impact our health. Lucky you to see Dr. Mate in person! I also have read Dr. Bessel van der Kolks' book. Good stuff! I just subscribed.

Oh I envy you brother that you can watch Dr Gabor Mate in person :)

All your points in this article: a loud, resounding yes.

It's a shame that the practices of indigenous cultures or the old days of different faiths across the world are dismissed by Western medicines, that for every disease there's a pill for it.

I used to "worship" science until I realised my illnesses stemmed from my psychological issues and unresolved trauma.

I used to "punish" my body for eating more until I realised I craved because I was underfuelled at the first place.

A lot of things going on in one's body are inseparable from what started in our minds, conscious or subconscious.

It was pretty cool, I am grateful! But at the same time, you are definitely getting the biggest benefits (knowledge) through his books and interviews, so don’t worry you’re not missing out on much! 😁

Agreed, we’ve certainly been ‘throwing out the baby with the bath water’ when it comes to traditional cultures. It seems we’re in a rebalancing transition now, which is good overall.

It seems we’ve had similar journeys. I’m glad you’ve come such a long way and have such a clear view of things. Keep doing your thing, Sekar!
