How to Reclaim Your Sovereignty - A Poem

Time to wake up

A fragile flame,
Left to flicker in the winds of isolation.
Beat into submission,
A bird with broken wings, its song a solemn whisper.

These are the sins of the ones who love you.

Fed ashes called nourishment,
Bathed in toxins; heart numb, senses dulled.
Your time and attention; fragmented, commoditized,
As Gaia is stripped to her hollow shell.

These are the corruptions of a system that exploits you.

Taught to obey, voice silenced,
Worshipping idols of money, fame, and scripture.
A tale of wealth and status spun as the ultimate goal,
A promise to erase problems in exchange for power.

These are the lies of those who seek to control you.

Allowing others to program thoughts,
A puppet on strings, dancing to the tune of their whims.
Trapped by the circumstances of life,
A prisoner on death row, singing their final song.

These are the fears the ego uses to enslave you.

THIS ENDS NOW

The moment you choose:
    To silence the noise
    To cease surrendering your power to the puppeteers
    To confront the shadows that haunt your mind
    To hear the whispers of truth within your heart

    To invest in your own healing
    To surround yourself with nature and love
    To believe that you are more than the sum of your scars
    To recognize the divine within you

The moment you choose yourself
The eyes open
You wake up
And nothing will ever be the same.
