The Language of Reality
Quantum physics is regarded as the science that most accurately models our reality, backed by mathematical precision. How can we prove this? Because we humans have predictably and consistently created groundbreaking innovation based on this foundational knowledge: the internet, computers, lasers, GPS, MRI’s, and more.
I’m by no means an expert in this field, but I’ve found it incredibly useful to understand the basics. Particularly the ones that relate to our consciousness and health.

Your Thoughts Shape Reality at the Subatomic Levels
The Observer Effect illustrates how observation affects experimental outcomes. For instance, an electron exhibits wavelike behavior when unobserved; however, upon being observed, it transitions into behaving like a particle.
Moreover, electrons exist in a Superposition, occupying several states concurrently. Once focused upon, the electron selectively adopts a specific state.
This demonstrates the significant influence your consciousness holds at the subatomic realm. As you piece together the intricate web of reality, exploring the connecting layers of energy, matter, elements, chemicals, and biology - you can start to see the impact of your thoughts on all levels of existence.
We Are All Entangled in an Unbroken Universal Tapestry
Quantum Entanglement is a principle in which particles appear to influence each other instantaneously, regardless of distance.
We can experience this phenomenon in action through the mechanism of Mirror Neurons. These are neural cells in our brain which match the action or emotions observed in others. This is a biological underpinning for imitation, learning, discernment, and empathy.
We are directly entangled with the people around us - and it goes all the way out into the universe.
String theory, a branch of quantum physics, describes the universe as a symphony of vibrating strings. The string's vibrational frequency dictates whether it manifests as a tangible substance (like matter) or intangible energy (as measurable on the electromagnetic spectrum).
From sunlight to Beethoven's Symphony No. 7, rocks, plants, thoughts, and love - everything possesses a distinctive vibrational signature. When you emit a particular frequency, it elicits a response in those around you, amplifying the universal interconnectivity.
Your Emotions Have a Vibration
Research conducted by organizations like the HeartMath Institute and Paul Pearsall, Ph.D reveals the heart's vital role in producing magnetic and electric fields, far stronger than those generated by the brain (60x and 100x respectively).
What the fuck? Where was that info in Biology or Physics 101?
Furthermore, our emotions alter the heart's rhythms, creating a ripple effect throughout our bodies.
“We have also found that the clear rhythmic patterns in beat-to-beat heart rate variability are distinctly altered when different emotions are experienced. These changes in electromagnetic, sound pressure, and blood pressure waves produced by cardiac rhythmic activity are "felt" by every cell in the body, further supporting the heart’s role as a global internal synchronizing signal.”
In essence, our hearts serve as conduits for love and compassion (and any other emotion), connecting us deeply to others and the world around us.
Practices such as therapeutic touch, qi gong, reiki, healing touch, among others are based upon the assumption that this exchange of energy can facilitate healing.
I’ve witnessed and experienced this healing firsthand, and am now on the journey to learn and master it.
Science is Converging with Spirituality
Many individuals have grown skeptical of organized religious institutions following encounters with corruption, misrepresentation of values, or personal crises of faith. But it’s important not to unequivocally discard the ancient wisdom carried in spiritual schools of thought such as Buddhism or Traditional Chinese Medicine.
There’s nuance - we need to be able to identify the deeper truths versus someone’s self-serving ideology.
The fundamental concepts of quantum physics and spiritual practices share some striking similarities. Both domains offer unique perspectives on reality and consciousness that complement each other. Here are some examples:
Interconnectedness: Similar to Quantum Entanglement, various spiritual traditions emphasize the interconnected nature of all things, including people, living beings, and the environment.
Non-duality: Quantum physics challenges the notion of a clear separation between observer and observed, suggesting that measurement influences the outcome. This idea resonates with spiritual beliefs that advocate for the unity of consciousness and matter, such as in Buddhist teachings on emptiness and non-self.
These overlapping themes suggest that the exploration of quantum physics and spirituality can deepen our understanding of the universe and ourselves, offering valuable insights into the mysteries of existence.
It is an indicator of a higher power beyond ourselves, and that we have the ability to reap benefits by connecting with it.
This, to me, is an essential component to fully healing yourself and those around you - helping you elevate to a higher state of consciousnesses.
The Key Points
Every aspect of our existence, from matter to consciousness and emotion, is composed of energy. It’s just a matter of vibration.
Our thoughts, feelings, and actions are deeply interconnected with the world around us, shaping our reality and the lives of others.
Approach healing holistically – integrating the physical, emotional, mental, energetic, and spiritual dimensions of wellbeing as a system versus isolated parts.
Be loving and compassionate to people. Spend time with them. Be present. It makes a difference.
